autumn haiku
the poems that fell
were never anthologized
winter drew a blank
[written after reading another haiku on this extensive thread]
I hear the drizzle
from inside my studio
raindrops are waiting
rain-sounds growing
I like to listen
from where I am
let me linger
for two more minutes
the day will wait
because of rain-sounds
the beauty of this season
it reaches deeper
they call this autumn
everything receives a name
dying has nuance
were never anthologized
winter drew a blank

The last haiku in the series is beautiful.
I agree it's the strongest one of the sequence, and the most philosophical.
Your judgment in poetry is something any poet would enjoy.
