"Circumscribed" [boomerang lullaby]
Among the sounds & thoughts that one might think to utter
what array presents a picture that could please her heart?
if merely words are given me perchance my part
in life's already circumscribed? one can but mutter
or sing or sigh or tra-la-la or horse-&-cart
the erstwhile cart-&-horse! or maybe bread the butter?
(where bread were formerly buttered) as we say with art
how many might be the sounds & thoughts one thinks to utter?

It has typically been monochrome -- but not always!
I refer your recollection, Bhai-saheb, to the great traditions of the illuminated manuscript! -- of Euroope and Asia alike. It occurred to me (after doing this) that it (very-very distantly) echoes something from those remarkably expressive forms of (often very colorful) text-besottedness (that is, forms of expressing crazy love for the written word).
I was happy, too, how the 2nd one above (the grayscale bird-poem experiment) took a differing tack.
The obvious focus, here, is on the end-rhymes -- classifying lines accordingly -- this thus serving as the organizing principle for visual display & design.
I suspect there might be further ways one may develop such ideas. These, anyway, show some that I'm happy with.
cheers, d.i.
