where are the poems?
o where are the poems dulcet & dapper?
(water from faucets may mimic a river)
pithy & earthy or chipper & proper
where are the poems for sweat or in shiver?
where are the poems suasive & laughing?
(water from bottles may mention a rill)
gleaming & flowing or bleeding & scoffing
where are the poems that answer & fill?

THAT to me is the essence of all poetry! YOu have expressed it so succinctly and so well!
I love the sounds. Your poems are meant to be read aloud.
Much obliged, Pincu and Batul.
I've continued to make small tweaks to the cycle called An Inland Journey; daresay I've been especially attentive to the play of sound with sense in that poem (which I deem a frankly ambitious effort). Indeed, that poem is fairly designed for recitation aloud.
At leisure, I'd be further gratified for readerly attention to the rather lengthy poem, if so disposed. ;-)
cheers,
d.i.
I agree with pincushion - very succinctly expressed. Thanks for stopping by my site David.
In answer to your question -
I wish I knew where it was so I could go there. I'm not sure actually where I found it originally. I wouldn't mind having it in my yard though.
(For those who seek the question, please see my blog. Thanks)
